Governor opinions for built engine
I’m about to buy some parts for my 23 and need to decide between different cams and governor setups. My question is go with the “gov” cam that pvt offers and stick with mechanical governor with stiffer spring? Or get the “non-gov” cam and go with an electric governor? Are the electric gov’s ok in wet/cold/snowy conditions? Will I be leaving power on the table if I keep the mech gov.? I’m thinking this is gonna be a full cam,piston, an rod build. Any help/opinions are much appriciated, Thanks.
