If I've got a 2014 35 Go Devil Surface drive and a newer 37 hp backwater long tail and I wanted to switch the two blocks out - put the 37 on the SD frame and vice versa, shouldn't that be relatively painless? I'd think there's not much difference b/w how the two mount just have to switch the gearing and bolt them on but didn't know if I was missing something.

You may ask why would I wanna go to the trouble to eff with something like that just entertaining the idea of buying a 37 backwater & swamping some stuff around then using the longtail to help flip a short term hull.
