Why don't the 35 vanguard's have a pull start?

 Why don't the 35 vanguard's have a pull start? Had a battery die once. A pull start as a backup would have been great.

Re: Why don't the 35 vanguard's have a pull start? Ever cranked an old atv or lawnmower and that bastard lock and rip the cord out of your hand? Try that with a 993 cc engine. Not something I want to bother attempting, and I've had more starters die than most of y'all.

Take your shroud off, and without removing the spark plugs....grab two handfuls of flywheel fans and give it a whirl.
I had a six cylinder 150 Mercury that would pull start easier than these things any day of the week!
