Post Must haves - spare parts
What's in your dry box/tool kit for spare parts for a carbureted 35 Briggs/Gator-tail? Part numbers for belts, relays, switches? Tools that are a must have? Trying to get my go bag together. Figured everyone with a Briggs could benefit from this. Thanks for the input.

I take a baggy with a few extra stock push rods and fuses, then I have a small tool kit with a few wrenches, pliers, torx wrench, and a few feet of 10 gauge wire, 550 cord, and a lithium jumper battery.

I saw a similar preparedness post where a guy was harping on having an extra kill switch lanyard. I scoffed at that but I ended up in some thick stuff last Friday and mine ended up at the bottom of the river before I knew it. Needless to say I have a couple spares now.

You can use fuel line in a pinch for a kill switch lifter.

To be fair I have a PD so it's the mash the button type. Rigged it up with some p cord and the folded top of a shell box. Good info for those that have the lifter though for sure
