Post Mikuni carb on 20 kohler
I was wondering what would be the cheapest yet efficient way to mount a mikuni carburetor to my kohler command pro 680 20 1/2 horsepower. I have read that mounting a double barrel intake to an adapter is a general practice but is there any way to mount it's my stock intake? And how would the the throttle cables hook up? And I've been looking at 34 mm mikuni flat slide carb would this be around the right size I would need?

You'd have to build an intake adapter. 34 seems a little big, that what they ran on the 27's.

I keep reading something about a put adapter. Do they make something along this lines for the flange type Kohler has?

I’ve never seen anyone here modding one of those. You should probably hit up some kart sites, though that engine may be a little big for those and a little small for tractors. Anyhow, those type of sites are where you should be looking.

Think you’re going to have better luck finding a modded stock carb than an adapter for the mikuni. If you are hell bent on running a mikuni, you’re probably going to have to do the fab work yourself.

I never could get ahold of him, lol. I found a local guy in sc to go pick stuff up for me and ship it. Even better that I could send him paypal instead of having to mail Al a check which added another week to the already delayed process.

Well I found these https://www.ebay.com/itm/2Pcs-Motorcycl ... 3157151956 I was thinking maybe I could slot the holes with a2 45 degree slip to slip boot, for the height(rather than 1 90) and it would work? Thoughts? The hole to hole on Kohler is 3 3/8.
