Hey guys. I've seen you all beat to death over EFI vs Carbed motors. I'm looking into getting one or the other. That being said, I like to fix things on my own. I'm mechanically inclined, and I have a good foundation on electronics. I haven't been able to find anything on the forums about troubleshooting EFI, in depth. Most of my electronic experience is in PLCs, sensor tech and AC power. I know a little about engines, but not much.

So, does anyone have any good resources on troubleshooting and diagnosing EFI engines? Such as, interpreting code readers, fuel mapping, programming, etc? Anyone have any idea on how much these programs and readers will cost? Thanks in advance.
