 Short transom height for 40 GTR What is the proper height for a 40 gtr? Mine seems to be too low in the water.

Re: Short transom height for 40 GTR Apparently not very well. It's been answered many times on this forum, but really if its answered once, how may more times do you need? Learn how to search next time or trust what someone said before. Don't ignore the guy that actually tried to help you search better.
20 deg will put you close enough, but the angle is overcome by trim range. The proper angle simply allows maximum performance when digging and still being able to trim all the way up. Because of the prop shaft length and full power reverse, prodrive is probably the one it matters most on.
