Longtail won’t shut off
I have a 35 hp longtail. When you turn the key off the motor stays running for like another 10 secs or longer. Is this a bad switch, or bad wiring? Does anyone have experience with this and where to start troubling shooting?

Re: Longtail won’t shut off
Sounds like it's dieseling. Not electrical related.

Re: Longtail won’t shut off
Let it idle to cool a little before turning it off. Change to a cooler spark plug. Run it a bit richer. Just some suggestions.

Re: Longtail won’t shut off
It’s not dieseling. It has to be electrical. It’s still getting fire.

Does it stay running when you pull your kill switch?
