| Post subject: | 18hp vanny starter replacement |
When trying to turn over engine especially in the cold all i get is a buzzing sound from the starter spinning but the gear isnt pushing forward to engage the flywheel takes a few tries to do so and now lately when the gear form starter does push forward and try to spin the flywheel it struggles. Figured I got a bad starter. Any tips and tricks to replace one and also a good starter oem equivalent or better aftermarket. links appreciated and tips and or tricks. thanks in advance |

before spending the money on a starter, i'd check wire connections, battery voltage and solenoid. |
