When trimmed all the way down idleing some times my engine light will come on for a few seconds then go back off and thats the only time it will come on.... is this normal? If not do these motors store codes or no?

seems like maybe a low oil level notification?
Trimmed all the way down and idling is not giving the engine a ton of oil pressure along with a "low" oil level.

This are not any codes for oil pressure. If the engine has an oil sensor then it is just tied into kill switch. If grounded it will just turn the fuel pumps off. The most common codes are “erratic crank sensor” codes, and voltage high or low codes. I would do a check of power and ground battery cables at engine and battery. Second I would adjust the crank sensor closer to the flywheel. Set it at .020 and give the flywheel a rub with a wire brush. Whatever it is I wouldn’t worry about it much

If u can have it checked it should have a stored code. The only time ive seen them not store a code is when the light is from a bad power or ground. To get to the crank sensor u must remove the front cowling. You will see the crank sensor near the flywheel at the upper right side
