HDR 40 VS. HDR 5000
what exactly is the difference between them? the website says ARKMOS ENGINEERING EFI compared to the stock 40 briggs.
I'm considering a new setup for reliability and would likely go with MudBuddy since there are a few dealers within 3 hrs. There isn't a Gatortail dealer close.

Re: HDR 40 VS. HDR 5000
i called and talked to a rep and they said the only difference is heads and exhaust. The warranty also goes down from 5yrs to 1yr. Do heads really put that much more stress on a motor?

Unless something changed, the warranty is 1 year for the LU and 3 years for the motor.

Iron Mountain heads will need a valve job @50hrs anyway, also there are better builders here.
Get the 40, if you want an exhaust buy one, personally the stock 40 exhaust is pretty loud. Then, after your warranty runs up, call Will or Marcus to get heads done.
