09 35hp vanguard big block mud buddy CDI?

 09 35hp vanguard big block mud buddy CDI? I need new coils for my motor how can I tell if it’s cdi or not? Or is it too old to be cdi?

Re: 09 35hp vanguard big block mud buddy CDI? 09 is non cdi. There are 2 yellow wires and 1 red coming out of the regulator (above the starter on your engine) for non-cdi. Cdi has 4 yellow and 1 red.

Re: 09 35hp vanguard big block mud buddy CDI? Side note. Cdi engines are available in 20 and 50 amp charging systems. I agree that your 09 is gonna be a non cdi
