37GT Burning fuel relay ?
I have a 37 Delta performance stage 2 GT with 97hrs .Last weekend i was running through thick lilies and suddenly seemed like it was running on one cylinder . It would start fine, idle rough and ran normal for about 30 seconds , ran bad again and kill. It wouldn't start at all once i returned home .I found a faulty relay under the air cleaner that was not letting the fuel pump come on when the engine was running but it would occasionally prime when the ignition was cycled . I replaced both relays and fuses , cleaned all connections in the relay/fuse box and checked all wires for shorts . I ran it this weekend and after about 5 hours it started to do the same thing and burnt the relay again . I'm starting to think the fuel pump may be drawing too many amps and burning the relay . Just wondering if anyone else ever had the same problem? TIA

Re: 37GT Burning fuel relay ?
Its pretty common for the wiring harnesses to have issues under that relay box. Probably time to put a fresh harness on it
