Briggs vanguard 36 ignition wire
So I burnt the diodes out of these wires tonight somehow. Can I, is it safe, or possible to just build my own harness without the diodes to make it work? Thanks in advance!

Re: Briggs vanguard 36 ignition wire
It must have the diodes to run and turn off both cylinders,,,, but if your in a bind u can hook the kill wire up to one coil without a diode to be able to kill engine . It will turn off one cylinder then choke it to fully kill it

Thanks man! I got the parts ordered but getting impatient. I did this when switching out my ignition switch. Will not having the diodes make the engine not crank?
