Post Pro Drive slow in shallow Cold Mud
Has anyone else experienced a slow down in boat performance running in shallow water/mud when it gets down into the 20F range? Usually can run 4 guys and gear no problem get 20ish speed with our Prodrive with mod exhaust. Yesterday and Today hard to even get on plain with 3 guys and gear. The river has really dropped this year and we are in about a 1ft of water and thick mud. Seems the mud has gotten really cold and tough to get through.

Check valve lash, make sure you didn't bend or toss a pushrod.

I could be misunderstanding you, but it sounds like what your talking about is your prop isn’t setting any “bite” due to hard bottom. If you have a full load your boat is naturally going to squat more and hard bottom is hell on surface drive.
