OK --- Not knocking the product, but it is more likely to need maintenance and repair due to the more complex design and extra features..... Plan on puting some money into your upkeep --- even if it is only for props @ 200.00 to 300.00 a pop --- it is part of the cost of ownership... I got about 1000.00 in props and about 25.00 in other misc maintenance costs on my GDSD at the 100 hour mark.... Bout time for another can of the WD40.... |

Coondik, You right about all that.... GT takes good care of their customers for sure... And since WestEndAngler is about the only GTR owner I see - I listen to him and I know he feels that GT has taken good care of him.... However in recent posts he has discussed several "minor" repair issues like re-shimming - a trim problem that disabled his trim - a reverse problem that disabled his reverse - a muffler that had broken and was "ringing" - hoses that broke and leaked brake fluid - etc... Again - I am not making a big deal about any of these issues - they were "minor repairs" and he loves his machine and is an advocate for the GTR... Cost of ownership ! |

well giga here we go again with this bs but now that you mention it i've seen gdsd's with broken shafts,blown bushing,bad seals,cracked welds, forked up mufflers. As we know they all break cost of ownership. |

I'm curious about something. Does Giga tow his GD to the ramp with a horse and buggy? Otherwise that fancy truck has too many options which means cost of OWNERSHIP!
