Re: Rev limiters
If you can keep em out the weather and limit the amount of shock that they absorb...they'll last a while.
What chip are u running?

Re: Rev limiters
There's been a couple people who have had their rev. limiters installed in small watertight boxes or inside of built in seats that haven't had any trouble.

Re: Rev limiters
My first one was mounted to the motor and only lasted a few months. Second one has been under the back corner gusset and hasn't had any problems. They hate vibration.

Re: Rev limiters
It probably won't be long before I will be getting the carb. Can anyone else chime in on where they have had lasting success on mounting the rev limiter.
I was either going to make a watertight box, or do like suggested above and mount it under the corner gusset.

Re: Rev limiters
Since my battery was in the back by the motor, I just tapped into the battery box and bolted it under the battery box lid.
