 Hunt deck VS Pods
Who thinks what is better? Pods or Hunt deck on a 1542 lookin to reduce motor weight on back of boat and float in less water?

A longer boat! A hunt deck will be more surface area than pods.

Agreed on the longer boat.
Hunt deck, especially if you're looking to utilize reverse.

Would not go without a hunt deck. Absolutley the best choice I made when building my boat
