Never tried to remove it, but I have some bad arse chisles/scrapers if you wanna try them. May could try and use a hair drier to heat up and possibly melt some of the adhesive. Why are u removing it Josh?[/quote]

i may take you up on those scrapers. im finally getting around to patching the cracks that i have, and im sure the foam is water logged like a sob. seems like im gettin more and more water commin in.

try a hair dryer. heat up the glue then one of those large industrial scrapers from home depot / lowes. there like 30 bucks.

Try using steam maybe? I no they use it to take off alot if other stuff. Also 3m has a product to use to get rid of excess adhesive, might work.

Is the glue rubbery or hard? I use a huge sharp filet knife to remove laminate from fukked up countertops when I have to, but the glue is kinda rubbery, just peel the corners up and run the knife under it as you peel upwards.

Yeah just filet it off then, a thin sharp blade will work, just like skin on a catfish

I replaced a piece of mine on the bow. Best thing I found was a metal paint a scrapper or putty knife with about a 2' wide blade. Sharpen it up and then in a chisel motion cut the bulk off. All that was left was the glue so I then used my grinder with a multi flap sanding disk to knock that off.

like i said.. Hair Dryer.. it will heat up the glue to melt it then scrape it off. that is the method we use to take stickers off of box trucks n trailers!

Post Re: easier way?
finally got all the hydro turf off this morn. i used a heat gun and it was still a pain. i ended up finding 3 cracks, all were located behind the bench at the first weld on three different braces, they went clear through to the bottom. but i should be up and runnin by fri. as for the foam, there was none in the floor, i thought they all came with it to begin with

again thanks for the tips

I think they had foam in the floor, and then did without it, and then went back to it. I know my 07' didn't have it but my 09' does
