 Re: shark eyes install
What exactly do you need help with? The installation should be pretty straight forward.

 Re: shark eyes install
like what would be the best way to cut the holes. i kinda hate to just start cutting on it blindly. thought someone who has done it might have some useful info or "what not to do" info.

 Re: shark eyes install
I haven't done the sharkeye's but cut plenty of holes in stuff. Is the hole you have to drill round or oval? I know the lights are oval shaped but didn't know whether the cut was or not. If its round, I'd just use a hole saw thats the right size. Most are designed for wood, but just get a cheap one, it will cut two holes through aluminum. If its oval, I'd probably use a dremel with a spiral cutting bit. Maybe an airsaw, but I would imagine the dremel would be easier. Just put the light where you want and trace the recessed part with a marker and have at it.

 Re: shark eyes install
start out wit a hole saw., i think an 1 1/4, that is the size for the bulk of the light where the bulb is. then take a cutoff tool that goes into a drill. or a drimel if u have it. and taper it back.

 Re: shark eyes install
cool, kinda figured it was. What justin said was prolly a lil easier than cuttin the whole thing with a dremel. Cut out the main portion with a hole saw, and then use the dremel to open up the sides until the light fits. Good luck.

 Re: shark eyes install
I cut a pattern out of card paper for the oval and screw hole. THen when I got it like I wanted i traced it on the hull and cut it out. Not something you want to fork up on........

 Re: shark eyes install
Normally the shark eye lights come with a gasket, use the gasket as a pattern to cut the hole out.

 Re: shark eyes install
Cut mine yesterday and used a jig saw. Used the rubber gasket as a template. Not sure what brand they are. Got them off EBAY for like $12.

 Re: shark eyes install
Cut a hole on each end with the hole saw and use a jig saw to connect the 2.

 Re: shark eyes install
The hole where the light socket goes is not a tear drop. Its just oblong. Do as I suggested and you cant go wrong. I talk from experiance. I installed quiet a few.
