Re: check out this fiberglass build I used to think the same thing till we started runnin fiberglass mudboats. if built correctly, they can be just as tough as an aluminum hull. they will give some, absorbing some of that impact. i've just about hit everything and anything with a Kirk boat and never had an issue.
