running new wires through foam floatation?
anyone ever had to rewire their nav lights through the foam insulation? this looks like a pain in the ass, but i have to do it. the old wiring is all stuck down somewhere in the foam and the butt connectors broke off. No type of stringer system was put over the wires to protect them from the foam. any help is GREATLY appreciated. this is gonna be a headache i think.

I bet you'll have to remove the foam and do the wires. Sucks but you'll probably end up doing it.

Re: running new wires through foam floatation?
I put some lights in my seats to light the floors and had the same issue. What I did was straightened out a coat hanger leaving the twist on one end and cut it the length I needed. I chucked it up in a drill and went to town. The good thing about it was I could bend it at an angle through that small light hole to get it to go where I wanted it to go. I don't know if this will help but who knows.

If ya have room to, use a paddle bit with 1 or 2 extensions. Ya can pick em up @ any hardware store or lumber yard. Beauty of it is that ya can use a big paddle bit like 1-1/2" to bore the hole and you'll have enough room for all ya plumbin & wiring.
