 where to get duralux??? I googled duralux, but can't find where to buy it online. The local hardware store that is supposed to carry it ,doesn't.

Re: where to get duralux??? Try Shannons Hardware in Morgan City, La Houma, La Lafayette, La
Make sure if you want the Olive Green, you go with Alum. Boat Green. All you have to do is spray your boat with Alum. Bright, rinse it off.. Let it dry, and then Roll on Paint.

Re: where to get duralux??? Where do you live? Touchards in delcambre has a whole selection of it and a color chart and they are like 10 bucks cheaper than shannons

I called Duralux and talked to a guy in New Orleans named Cory. He is sending me a color chart. Thing is though the only paint they have made for applying directly to bare aluminum is od green, can't get it any other color. I'd have to paint it od green then go back on top of that with something close to natural gear base color. Paint the boat twice. Seems like there should be a beter way.
