 Low proflle!!!!
Wanted to post my recently finished low profile rig. It fits three shooters. It's easy to hide I just roll out 6 sheets of avery grass that are zip tied together across the deck and place one over the longtail for added camo. My 27 HP Beavertail got three guys deeks and gear exacty where we needed to go for an early season teal shoot Saturday. Boat even pulled out a prodrive with a busted lower unit carrying three guys gear and a dog. I'm new to Mud Motors but I have to admit I'm totally blown away with what these boats can do in such crazy conditions. This build took some time to get it how I wanted it but I love how the low profile virtually make it hidden next to flooded grass. Hope you enjoy the pics!

 Re: Low proflle!!!!
Thanks for all the positive comments everyone, I'm taking it out two weeks from now for Kansas Opening weekend and Will be sure to take some pics of it with thew grass on it. I have about $550 in the blind portion including lights, blind seats and avery grass. I figured it was about the same cost as buying a new avery bind plus it fits my needs better then a pop up blind due to limited cover here in Kansas. I loved the gatorhide but just couldn't fit it into the budget at this point.

 Re: Low proflle!!!!
A few of you wanted a pic with my boat in action so here you go...Had it out this weekend for an early season Kansas duck hunt. As you can see the Avery grass rolled out across the deck adds a lot . I also throw a sheet of it over the 27 LT. I finish it of with some Fake ferns It's still pretty warm here, 50 on the water this morning. so things are still kind of green, that won't last long. Had a great time!

 Re: Low proflle!!!!
Blind looks great man! Only thing i would do different so it doesnt look as uniform is spray some black strips on the grass and cut, fray, and zip tie some dark burlap to the grass.

 Re: Low proflle!!!!
Yea I would suggest you spray paint some green and black in there somewhere too so it doesn't look so uniform but other than that it look pretty sweet!

 Re: Low proflle!!!!
I dont see how lying on your back next to the waterline all day with rain hitting you in the face would be any fun at all. seems to me you would have to have a top over your face and your guns clearly sticking out of the holes. I dont like the concept for my style of hunting. It is low profile though!

 Re: Low proflle!!!!
I did that with a old flat I had just put plywood over it. I worked great. Even better for the cold days. You could put a heater in it and would warm you right up

 Re: Low proflle!!!!
some of the pics are the bottoms, it's been kind off rough there this year so have moved private land. Maybe the birds will come soon, may try it again later in season. Also to answer the other comment, I don't hunt in the rain much so couldn't tell ya, to each there own. I'm personally not a huge fan of avery blinds that are 4 -5 feet tall either but that thats whats so fun about duck boats you can make them your own. Have a good one!
