Looking at buying an 06 1754 with midwest hull. I have the 35 stock mb and plan on putting a single mikuni kit with marshmellow exhaust on it. Anyone have a setup like this? Wanting to know speeds with and without load and with and without carb and exhaust. Does this hull slide when turning? Any other input would be helpful. Thanks

I have had a 1754 excel MW with a 35 MB with single carb for almost two and half seasons. Decent speeds for a heavy boat with hunting load somewhere around 20. A couple mph faster with a fishing load. I am happy with the boat. It is tough and has some cool features. It is a single tapered chine. Slides like a mofo in the skinnys or mud. Stick time takes care of that. I got a good deal in my boat and have not regreted it. pm if you have any questions
