 Custom LightingBecause holding the ole Seal beam isnt always possible any ideas to blaze up the marsh.

Can't get the pictures to e-mail along with the instructions ofr some reason. Heres the web address where I found the original instructions. http://www.drundel.com/hunt/hardhatlight/ I've made a couble of these using a plastic funnel. (No rust) SO FAR they seem to be holding up fine, like they didn't melt. Re: Custom Lighting I got the bulbs from a company called "Aircraft Spruce" Google them on the web. Funnel was from "Ace Hardware" on the web.
Get the bulbs FIRST! If you try to find a funnel locally, make sure that the bulb will drop down into the funnel AT LEAST 1/2 to 1 inches. This allows room for the plastic bolts to hold the bulb in AND stops any light scatter / reflection shining down into the boat and getting into your eyes. You got to cut a BIG hole in the hardhat for the funnel to fit. Don't worry it WILL work and you ain't gonna mess it up  I got the toggle switch and the nylon bolts from Lowes. Put a rubber boot on the switch, but I can't remember where I got it from  Can't find the nylon bolts? Just use 3 dabs of silicon to hold the bulb in. Easy to cut and peel out when you change the bulb. Make sure you line up the flilment in the bulb this way ---------.
