 old style camo paint
should be getting my new boat in a month or so and im wanting to paint it the old style camo, anyone ever painted theirs like this before, like the green black and brown splotches everywhere? thanks

I had a flat back canoe that I painted like that a few years back. It came out nice but I free handed it. You could probably find some stencils online for a basic camo pattern online and just use different colors. If I had some pics of it I'd post them but just look at a pattern and go from there

Just google "woodland camo" and make your own stencils.

A couple of years ago had a guy post up a gator tail rig he had painted "old school" camo, before Drake made it popular again, looked great, he had more of the brown contrast but I think the green would look great. Can't remember his screen name but he hunted down the road from us in Pecan Island, think he might have been from the Maurice area? Maybe someone here can give ya a name to search for to get the pic's

Yea, just free hand it, no stenciles needed, getcha a pic of woodland camo, some kaki, mud brown and flat black and gitty up, aint hard!
