Post Looking for help with new boat
Hello just purchased a used 35 mb short shaft from a buddy an got a good deal on a new g3 1652
i put the 2 together an run it to figure out the transome is to high 20" an it will only run trimed all the way down but goes pretty good. But dosen't make sense to have mud motor if running like an out board. So i cut the transome out about 4" an the motor rides in the water a little better but when i'm by my self it wants to porpus? Not sure if i now need pontoons on the back now? The prop is also warn a little so i have one on order. any help or suggestions would be great. Sorry for rambling on just a little frustrated.

Its in the back i thought about that as well but i really have no where to put it unless i cut in to my front seat to get it out of the way. i was also worried about pushing water an not planing out with to much weight in the front. right now im only getting 22mph with two guys an dog an am turning 4100rpms not sure if thats right either.
