Post Re: your boat
Whos building it? there are many different designs out there. I have a open hull, and Love it.. Though, others likes alot of storage space. My boat is made out of all 1/8" it is 19'3" long, and 46" on bottom.. I have 2" flat bar ran long ways, and 2"x2" Sq Tubing crossing each on top. This enables any bend to be vertical.(not affecting ride of boat) The 46" bottom enables you to use a full sheet for your double bottom. If you search my name, you will find additional pictures of my boat. I would not recommend putting a 45 on your transom. This lets the water come off of the back of the boat too soon. THough, it is nice in reverse.. HOPE THIS HELPS>>>th_ProDrive.jpg

Here is some pics of what I just had built. I'm not finished with it yet, but had a chance to put in the water today. It's got some bugs to work out to say the least. It's 18'x48" fiberglass.
