 1648 Landau & GTR35 I have a 1648 Landau jon and would like to know if a 225lb GTR35 will be too heavy. Short transom. Do I need pods? How will that affect the handling of the boat? Both battery and gas tank are the rear of the boat also. No way to move them to the front. I am wanting to get at least 25 mph in open water w/ 2-3 hunters and gear. Any chance this will work?
