 Center Console on 17' Does anyone have a center console in a 1748 ProDrive? I think I really want a center console. I have a 1748 with a 32.
Is a console going to eat up all my room?

Re: Center Console on 17' it will run 22-25mph shallow and deep. takes a load pretty good too; me 2 friends and hunting gear with decoys and pop up blind its like 22mph. there is enough room to pass it on the side. i have my rod holders there so its a tad bit tighter when the rods are there but i'm use to it now. i like it alot wouldn't change a thing on it. here are some older pics of it from when i first got it but you get the idea, just call me if you got questions JP 504-451-3326

Re: Center Console on 17' I picked up my new 1848PDCC with a 36PD wednesday, ran it with apporx. 700lbs., ran 25mph in deep water. Also ran it unloaded and it ran 28.8, love it has plenty of room and it's balanced out pretty good.

Re: Center Console on 17' i have a 1848 aucoin cc and love it. i would think that 48 is probably the narrowest you can go with a cc, unless the width of the console is cut down a bit. but the cc handles vegatation and mud with no problem. i wont own another mud rig without one. i have a gator tail so my speeds wouldnt help you im sure, but if u have any other questions i may be able to answer holla

Im putting the hydro trim next week and while im there at PD im going to jump in a boat that is 17 feet just to see what kind of room im looking at looseing. but to answer your question its not going to be untill after the duck season that i put in the cc
