Post Radar setup for mud-boat/outboard rigs
I’m looking at setting up a rig with radar for running fog. Wanna see some ideas that others have used in setting up their rigs

I don't recall ever seeing one on a mudboat, but completely doable. just get one of them gay redfish tower things and put a Furno radar on it.

usually I just idle along and run on gps in the fog, or sleep in and go shoot in the mid day.

Radar doesn't pick up fiberglass boats that well. Just be cautious when trusting it.

I've seen people put a radar dome on a bracket / pole mount. Good luck.

Radar sees crab trap balls at 500 yards. Picks up glass boats fine.

Im in the process of putting one on my boat, just going to slap it on the poling platform and call it a day.

Okay, yes in a flat calm bay. My basis is off shore where there is way more noise.

I like the setup of your boat. Looks like a great delta or wax rig for sure

Add a small arch to the console.
