Doesn't a 3 Man Hide typically run around 1300-1400 pounds empty? I would assume you would need the mods to move the wieght??

I had a 3man hide with a mb45 on it. I never got a gps of top speed but I had no problems getting on plane and it was a very nice boat build wise. I only sold it because I started hunting more timber. If you do get one the longer shaft 32" is highly reccommended

love it. Only boat i will probably ever own that im satisfied with. 7000 on it is nasty. Ante up and do the damn thing. Drafts shallow. Have hit less stumps than rouge i had. Planes out quicker and shallower than rouge did. If you run stumps have kent tac false transom above runners and add atleast one more runner. It is a very wet ride in chop because of surface area on front of boat. When you hit waves it splashes out in front and over bow. Summer time its okay winter time just cant hold it WOT. Slides in sharp turns cause boat is a shallow drafter. I know with the 7000 it is one bad rig. Dont know about anything less on it.

Called back and talked to Kent this afternoon and he said right around #750 which my old boat was around #950 so its light compared to what I'm used too.

Ive owned all of the top 4...so far mud buddy has been my best motor hands down! They got a lot of people on here that jump on the hate a certain motor bandwagon even though they havent owned one. There sheep so you gotta kinda take the ignorant with the smart on this site.

like dog walker said, i've got one with the MB 5000. fun boat to run. the 45 is plenty enough for the hull. originally my boat had a 40 and it was a bit underpowered. wet boat in rough water but hunting out of it is like nothing else out there. ENJOY!

I personally have only owned 1 other motor, 23 GDLT. but quite a few friends around me have had the other brands out there. Never Satisfied has a PD that he has had quite a few issues with. The reverse is a beast. Another friend of mine has the GDSD. sturdy, well built, tank of a frame but no neutral or trim, not an option. now the GT none of my friends owned. I test drove one on my GD hull and was very disappointed. obviously they were not designed to go together I wasn't all that impressed with the reverse. with some more stick time I'm sure I could have gotten some more out of the reverse. my MB has treated me well. the only issue i have had was my trim switch broke, easy fix, and a loose wire at the alternator. that's why my battery wasn't charging that day we made the run out in caernarvon. other than that i love a lot of the details they put into the frame (trailoring pin, control box at the end of the handle, hydraulic trim, etc...)
to each his own!

Got her home the other day and took it out and I am very impressed with it. It is going to take some getting used to turning I am not used to a boat that slides like this ons does. We had two guys and myself in it and she flew through some serious shit. All I need to do now is try to quite down the duals on it a little bit and through some grass over it and let the slaughter begin!!

Every manufacturer out there has had there share of issues at one time or another and all of them have improved their products as well...

I rode in one powered by a MB with a Minuki a couple of weeks ago. A buddy in my duck lease has one. I'm not going to get started with the engine debate, but if you use the boat to do one thing - hunt , it's nice. Way to heavy for me, but nice to hunt out of with the layout.
