Deadbird8 has it and if I remember correctly he said it did absorb some water. But he liked it and it looks good.

i've got it on my GD boat. I love it! I'll never go back to fast-crap. The shaggy blind blends in better. Some areas I hunt don't look like fields of gold grass so that damn fast-grass stuck out like a sore thumb. the shaggy material folds up flat when you drop your blind and trailers really well.

I have the snow shaggy...love it in the right conditions...but to answer your question it does get soaked with water when it rains. That makes it heavier than when dry.

I had a shaggy on my old boat and really liked it. I now have raffia grass which is much heavier when it gets wet, harder to roll up onto the frame, etc. The shaggy blinds hides real well in my areas too/

i have a military shaggy style on my boat. it looks 100% better than the fast grass and it also doesn't hold water like and get soggy like the fast grass. get rid of the fast grass and you will never regret the fact that you did.

WEA, I see that stuff on craigslist pretty often. Also you can usually find it at an army surplus store. Sometimes its cheap, but sometimes they're a lil proud of that stuff. How much do you need? We had a piece about 10 or 14x4 that we weren't using. Don't know where it is at the moment, but may be able to find it for ya.

If you travel more than 1 hr each way to hunt and you most of your driving is on the Highway- "DO NOT GET THE SHAGGY MATERIAL" the stuff did not last 1 complete season. I usually drive 1.5 hrs on the highway each way and the stuff started separating from Day one.

It is now used as backing material for my Mojo Leafy sheets. I have had these now for over 2 seasons and have absolutely no issues....driving does not bother it, nor does the weather!
