I used dap contact cement from lowes or home depot. Just make sure you let it sit for a while and get real tacky before laying the turf |

Just clean it real good. Mild soap and water would be fine. Scuff it up a little bit, and glue it down. Keep an eye on it while it dries. I know with the contact cement it expanded quite a bit, and bubbled in a few places. I just cut it in as it stretched, and rubbed out the air pockets. |

I'll go with duckhuner 88- Wipe it down with denatured alcohol and use the 3M 90. Worked like a charm. |

If you use the 3M 90 make sure and spray on both the hydro and the boat. Then let it sit up a few minutes. Get some help because once you put it down it is down, there isn't any moving it around. I did exactly the way the couple posts above mine did. Hasn't been on long so I can't give you a long term opinion but it has held real well. I did have one small seam I put Gorilla Glue on to sure it up both otherwise it was perfect. Good luck, I am very happy with it and won't have another boat without it. |

On my last boat I had used contact cement and the boat stayed in the sun and weather for 2 years and never peeled. I did these steps: 1st cut the tuff where you want it to be. 2nd trace out the area that will be covered. 3rd take some 80 grit sand paper and scuff the marked areas. 4th paint contact cement on the boat and the tuff. 5th drink a beer and wait for it to dry then have a friend help you line up your edges and place down. This is how I am going to do my next boat because I did not have any problems. |

I purchased mine from Gator Trax, but if you are flexible on the camo you can get it cheaper from Hydroturf directly. I posted some pictures below of what it looked like when I laid it down. I laid the sheets down and used a razor blade to cut the hydro turf directly on the boat. Measuring some of the angles i think would be much more difficult. Also, based on the pictures I guess i used a Locite glue! ![]() |

x2 I use the 3m stuff for wrapping speaker boxes at work, and over time, it always comes off. I couldn't understand how it could possibly hold up in this environment. Contact cement works great, jus gotta let it get tacky before putting the turf down. |
