Anyone got a beavertail boat ? How are they, what you gettin for speed ?

Last year I bought the 1750 package with the 27LT, empty with two 170 pounders in the boat, first time on water (first time ever using a MM) and we maxed out at 18MPH. During the season with the Northern Flight blind, heavily grassed up, three hunters, dog and decoys we maxed out at 13 MPH. The boat is built like the preverbial brick s-house and I really like it. I only had it on the water 6 times last year so there is a lot of learning for me left on it. If you want to talk more, PM me your number.
