Here is my new/old setup. Hull was given to me, trailer was unused and given, motor bought new from Coperhead. This past weekend, I finally got to painting and fitting everything as needed. This boat will eventually be given to my son. Will get better pics later. A few pics of the hull before work. A few after paint and finaly rigging. |

Thanks guys. I did it to spend more time with my son. Teaching him how to do things for himself vrs. going buy something, is a good thing to know. Also him knowing what it cost and how things are made is good knowledge. |

Like your rig. How does the copperhead perform? speeds, under loads, etc. |

Here are the final pics. The pop-up blind isn't on it, it's hanging from the ceiling of my garage. Let me know what you guys think. |

Wow, that was a nice transformation. A kid couldn't ask for a nicer first boat, good job. The dog looks very happy too! ![]() |

Would have loved for my dad to buy me a new surface drive...i ended up selling my fourwheeler and buy a old go devil long tail of a football player for lsu. I have suck well over 2000 into this lil boat i got and i have to tell you at 16 owning my own boat and motor sure feels nice im sure your son will love it. Can we still get some speeds on it once you run it and all. |
