I would like to know how stable it is in the water if you would be comfortable hunting open water with it how it rides on rough water if you can tow it behind a boat. Those are a few I will think of more. |

It's extremely stable, My definition of open water might be different than yours, but I wouldn't use it in whitecaps, I would put it on a boat before i would tow it, If it takes a wave over the front while in motion it's going submarine. I'm going to get in the middle of about 60 coot decoys with mine. |

I agree with Joe. Get the the cover and strap it down if you have to tow it. |

Is that cover that comes with it water tight so if it did dip down no water would get in the boat. |

Just put it in your boat. |

It's a good fit but really has no seal. If the boat is big enough, first choice is to put it in the boat. |

I know it is a little off topic, but that doesn't seem to matter on MMT. If you are in that market, you might want to consider a Momarsh Fatboy or Fatboy DP. I have the DP model and it is very stable and roomy. It can handle some short chop, so long as you shift some load back and allow the bow to rise. |

do you guys really kill alot of ducks out of those lay out boats just wondering if its worth the money instead of putting a boat blind on any thoughts. I hunt protected shallow water |

Thanks for the help I picked one up and had it in the water over Labor day and have to say I like it is stable with me and the dog and handled some choppy water. wonder if any of you have painted a plastic boat I would think oil base paint would stick better but wanted to see first if anyone as painted theirs |
