 Transom wedges?
I know i have been thinking about putting wedges on boat so it will push my front end down a little since my nose rides really high and when im by myself it starts to porpoise. My friend just told me about transom wedges. But i know gator-tail use a big transom angles than sdb but that said by putting the transom wedges on my boat will that put the transom angle right for a gator-tail also will that stop the porposing?

 Re: Transom wedges?
They are probably 5 deg. wedges? It will push your nose down and probably eliminate the porpoising, but you will lose 5 deg. of positive trim as well. I don't know if the 23 GTR has a manual trim on it but you will have to trim it more to get your bow up to get the speed you have been getting.
