Got my boat back from the fab shop today... I had rails added to to sides. its 3/4"OD and flat bar as supports cut at a slight angle. Im going to use the rails to tie in the camo netting for the pop up blind.

Already have them acid washed and primed... Hopefully Sunday I can finish painting.

I like those rails and would love to have them on my boat. Did you get a buddy discount? If not, about how much would they set back the average Joe?

Ez guys...

It's 1" O.D. Pipe.

I'm thinking the flat bar bracing is 1 1/2"

pipe measures by the inside diameter and different thicknesses affect the outside diameter, not the inside. tubing on the other hand measures from the o.d. and thicker tubes, be it square or round, make the inside hole smaller.

I like the handrails, always wanted some, when I get a new boat it will have them.

Oh, and my pipe says SCH 40 on it. Always just thought it was a birthmark. :P

Very basic and cheap!! A pop-up duck blind does not have to cost you 500-600 bucks. This will deff get the job done after I finish camo'n it... I hope this help some guys on deciding to install a pop-up for a fraction of the price!

Just got home from Cabelas with my new blind material.. I finaly broke down and bought the Avery camo net system, and let me tell u this stuff is awesome. As soon as I got home I ripped open the package to check it out and in totaly impressed!! Pics to come Monday after I install it. It shouldn't take long with the built in velcrow tabs! Wish I bought this stuff in the years past but I always thought it was way over priced!!
