 8' layout w/32 prodriveThats really what I have now. A guy bought my boat for the asking price. He said he's gonna put a 6hp johnson on it.
I'm coming up with ideas for a stump/timber running boat. 18x??" skiff with 3/16 bottom. I am madly in love with shafer's boat's lines, except for the flat front, I might come up with something like that. There's a few for sale I've been looking at also. Re: 8' layout w/32 prodrive ive been wantin to get one built like a Bataeu/skiff hybrid.
Have a narrow tapering front like a skiff with a long high sweeping rake like a standard bataeu that way you can run open water and thick trails.
