| Post subject: | Longer steering handle or modify grab bar? |
Running a GD 1656 with a MB 27 Mini. Ran it for the first time Tuesday and was very pleased. Only issue is I can't reach the grab bar while running the motor. The boat was set up for running LT's not SD's. I can either angle the grab bar back towards me or get a longer steering handle for the motor. I'm thinking longer steering handle is the way to go. I'll have to lengthen the throttle cable also, but that will be easy. Nathan |

sounds like you've already made up your mind .. angleing the bar, sounds easier than changing out the handle but then again i'm lazy! |

you would be gettin your wieght a lil more out of the back with a longer handle. |

Only thing is your gonna have to hang over da side of da boat to make sharp turns wit a longer handle. |
