Here is a picture of a little boat i just finished building, its only 7' long, but it packs a punch. i load tested it at 325 lbs and it sat really good in the water, i think i could easily put 400 lbs and still float level. the grey is temporary, or maybe permenant if i use it for open water, i'll have a camo net cut to fit for the marsh. wd |

Ive had the plans to build one since this past summer. Just never got around to it. Looks good....how long did it take? |

Yea, its very thin pywood, 3/16" with fiberglass inside and out. it weighs around 70lbs, though i haven't put it on a scale yet. i quesstimate you could build it complete in about three weekends, maybe even two. i built it starting in Feb. and only worked on it a few nights a week for a couple hrs each night. with the weather hovering around, or below freezing, i had to wait a day or couple of days on the fiberglass between steps. about 12 weeks at that pace and it was done. |
