I am lookin at gettin a new rig. I had a 2072 w a 200 jet that caught fire n burned up. I like the room of the 2072 so im thinkin of gettin another w dual prodrives or gettin one with a prop tunnel n outboard. I run a lot of shallow log infested rivers

Re: tunnel hull vs mud motor
I've run both and they both are good for specific applications. A 2072 with dual prodrives would be incredible for jumpin stumps and deadfall but a 2060 tunnel hull plate boat with a 150 is awsome for bustin ice and holding 200 decoys. Since you are in IA, stop by Illowa and take a demo ride on their dual rig and you can see what you like.

Re: tunnel hull vs mud motor
Has anyone had a good experience with tunnel hulls? I talked 2 a guy who sold a few n said they suck and would blow out all the time.
