All those tie wraps on the cage, and the shark eyes tie wrapped to da cage are kinda gangsta, but that engine is bad a$$. I just sold my airboat too and kind of miss it already. They are sure fun, but they can get expensive quick.

The tie raps were a quick fix
I did not have many problems with mine ran it for over a year and a half and all I had to do was change the oil and play with the carb a few times
That was one of the only boats I ever had I made money on
Bought in Fl. for 20K and sold to some guy in south Tx for 26K

A carbureted LS engine ...... Should have left it fuel injected! Although I have never seen one, But a Fuel injected Airboat would be LEGIT.

I bought the boat like that
You can opt for the fuel injection but it is about 3 to 4 grand more
Dave hart with water thunder builds a hell of a motor
Has some putting out 700+ HP
They are all designed for airboats

If you build the RIGHT fuel injected motor it will perform right.. You need the best heads, a big throttle body, High flow injectors, quality fuel pump, a badass cam, and a great EFI live tune. Then we are talking. Most people do not know enough about fuel injection around here, thats why its not used much.

Yeah i guess thats why I have to slowly easy into the throttle, cause I aint got all that fancy stuff. But it does do the job.
