Post subject:  Excel F4 series boat with Huntdeck...lessons learned

Anyone have any comments on the Excel F4 series boat and any data from people who have ridden in one would be most helpful.

It appears to have some very solid features, but about a hundred pounds heaver than the GT, PD, and GDSD boats with similar LXW. Apprecate thoughtful comments as I am looking at getting another boat.

I am running a 2006 16X60 GDSD boat- however I think that a 18X60 with 21" sides, extended, flush 4' front deck, .125 bottom, solid welding, and a 18 or 20" huntdeck is what I need for poling and fishing and hunting our shallow North Carolina sounds, crossing some deep & wide bays, and out in our backcountry saltmarsh.

Hope everyone has a great holiday.

I am certainly happy to be back in the USA from another deployment in the military; apprecate all those and their families who have kept all our armed forces in your prayers and those who have sent cards, hunting magazines and care boxes from your communities and churches.

Best Regards,

Joe Guide
