ok after getting my ars kicked for a hour moving the boat 15 feet in da wind stuck on a sand bar im ready to under coat my boat ! but which one to choose from ? frog spit or liquid steel ?
is there a differnce . there is a vendor up north that says he can apply a hot liquid UHMW to the bottom of my boat up to a inch thick ? here is a link : http://www.armacoatings.com/ would be great if i could make the bottom more flat eliminating the linear ribs on the bottom of that 1860 tracker for sure . So what you all think

post a pict of the bottom of your boat. Is it 100% flat?

If not, I doubt if the coating will help. Unless you can put enough to smooth it out.. Then, your hull will be too heavy

Sand is the devil and nothing will get you off a sanbar quicker than some 4" PVC and some leverage...

Place PVC on the sandbar in front of your boat push it up on there and now you can roll it on the PVC insteaed of pushing it on the sand. I keep 4 pieces in my boat at all times. I run hard sandy bottoms so when you hit a sandbar it is usually already too late lol
