I have an 18/44 gator trax mudbuddy edition. and i am looking at a 2005 gator tail 31. would there be any problems with the gator tail on the gator trax? I hear of some problems with the transoms for the mudbuddys not working good with the gator tail. my transom is short and it is angled but not sure how much. also what kind of speed do you think i will get with this combo? thanks

I have a 17' 50 w huntdeck and 35 gtr. The only thing you will have to do is get a plate added to where the motor mounts. THe gator trax transom is set up for the wider frame of a mudbuddy motor. Dealer added my plate to mount the gator tail and worked fine since. If you need more info PM me.
