What are your thoughts? I heard longer and narrower was faster, but what happens when a full hunting load is added? |

More surface area = more load carrying capacity, but you have to have enough motor to push it all too. |

run a 23hp if youn want but i would do something like an 18x40" |

My boat is 19x42. I like the long skinnier rig for running all the grass and lillies on our lease in the summer time. I agree with the above post, 1848 is great for all around use. Wider hulls will carry more load, but will stick easier in thick veggies due to more surface area. |
