 Extended deck Getting ready to order new boat. Contemplating extended deck. I know it will use a little bit of storage but like the idea of no tripping over the gastank and trolling motor batter.
What reason did you or dind't you get one on your boat?

Re: Extended deck Just Do It!!! Keeps sun off the fuel tank if left outside and could you imagine someone stepping on your tank in the dark and crushing or breaking something off it.Good for storage also.The most important for me was the decks on the boats are small.Medium ice chest will fit up under it and keep cerveza good and cold.

Re: Extended deck Creates more usable space without making boat bigger or adding weight. Protects tanks and battery and keeps folks from forking things up by stepping/tripping on them. Why wouldn't you????????

Re: Extended deck I likes the deck on mines BoatHull 'cause some times I likes to sit there and ..... Fish !!!! Sometimes at the ramp or dock or beached ..... I can step on it for the most needed suport for boardin' the BoatHull !!!!! When runnin' Frogs I put a "PolePro" in the pedistal whole fo the feller thats workin' the front 'fo support so's he don't be fallin' overboard when I be needin' him to do his work !!!! I likes the front deck when we be tying limb lines ..... I can run him up under there with his back to the tree !!!!! When runnin' the river .... I set a cooler rite behind the deck so's thay can sit side by side with a table at ready to be tyin' hooks and lines !!!!! I likes mines front deck sometimes when we be cleanin' game ........... but most important reasons I likes mines front deck is .................................... when I'm puttin' on the romance !!!!!!!!
